Grilled Tempeh Bahn Mi

    • 3 oz. Tempeh grilled
    • 1 oz. Vegan Mayo
    • 1 oz. Earth Balance
    • 3 oz. cucumber, carrot, bean sprouts, chili slivers julienned, marinated in rice wine vinegar/sugar
    • 1 oz. Thai Chili Sauce
    • .5 oz. Pickled Ginger
    • Fresh Cilantro
    • Costanzo’s 8in white sub roll


    1. combine 1oz vegan mayo with 1oz earth balance to make a bahn mi spread
    2. Assembly: Be sure to grill tempeh with vegan mayo applied to both sides; enhances crust. Tempeh must be grilled well for texture. Spread mayo/earthbalance spread on both sides of toasted roll. Put marinated julienne veggies on bottom half of sub roll then grilled tempeh on top. Put pickled ginger on top of tempeh. Drizzle chili sauce and put fresh cilantro on top.
